Recapping Our Grand Re-Opening Artist Reception

Updated: May 23, 2023

Last Thursday evening on May 18th, 2023, Gallery B612 held their first Artist Reception. They featured 25+ artists, over fifty art pieces, and five special performing talents at this show. The artists were able to attend the reception and connect with the fellow art community of local artists, art collectors, and friends alike. The support was high and the energy was surging with life as locals and neighbors were brought together at this special event.

We are overjoyed at the successful turnout for Gallery B612’s 'Grand Re-Opening Artists Reception' last Thursday night. Over 150 guests showed up at the event. The Gallery B612 team are very grateful to all who were there and involved with the exhibition and reception as we could not have done it without you. We hope the community and artists all enjoyed the talented performers and designers as well as all the art displayed. Five piece have sold so far. We invite you to come and see our beautiful art pieces which will be on display now through June 17th at 1915 1st Ave S Seattle, Washington. See our new business hours.

The Gallery B612 Team are so very proud about bringing the community together and sharing this time in art appreciation, multicultural acceptance, and a loving and life-giving space to spend time in. It is our goal to bring the community together: for people to make connections and share in our individual and shared stories and joys.

One of the selected artists for the exhibition, Susan Bagrationoff, a Kent art instructor from Florida, says,

“Thank you Gallery B612 for the start to a wonderful Grand Re-Opening Exhibition! I am forever grateful that you gave me the opportunity to show my piece, The Sea Hag, in your gallery. This is my first experience showing my work in Seattle, so this was a HUGE moment for me!”

Parmida Ziaei performed a dance choreography to the song, “Woman, Life, Freedom” by Sevdaliza. She is an Iranian-American designer, performer and choreographer based in Seattle. Ziaei, one of five of our special performing talents says,

“Thank you, [Miyoung], for giving me space and a platform to continue sharing about Iran through dance. This song is really powerful to dance to, every single time.”

The Gallery B612 team would like to thank you all for joining us at the Grand Re-Opening Artist Reception and for making this event so special.
