Celebrate, investigate, and reimagine the natural world in Love Letters to Planet Earth. This collection presents a series of metaphorical “love letters” to the Earth: visual celebrations shaped by unique perspectives of our shared planet. Vibrant color and rich texture bring to life a thriving natural world and allow us to imagine her potential, while works with layered narratives present windows to what may be lost. Through a lens of hope, the collection highlights why our planet deserves protecting.

YoungHwa Choi is a contemporary artist based in Napa Valley, CA known for her innovative fusion of materials and stunningly intricate sculpture-paintings which create a dialogue between traditional Korean painting techniques and modern materials. Her current body of work evolved during the coronavirus pandemic, where isolation and reliance on delivery services led her to repurpose cardboard boxes as a new artistic medium.

In Jogakbo Journeys, Bella Kim reinterprets jogakbo -- the Korean tradition of patchwork. Working with discarded materials such as plastic packaging, fabric scraps and fragments of everyday life, Kim sews small pieces together to create layered and evolving compositions, giving new meaning to what is often overlooked. In what is emptied, discarded, found again, and reconnected, Kim traces her own journey—as a mother, an immigrant, and an artist. As each fragment joins another, the past and present are stitched together one piece at a time, forming the narrative of life itself.

Gallery B612 presents a vibrant, salon-style collection of small works, creating an intimate yet dynamic viewing experience. The exhibition will showcase a diverse array of themes, genres, and styles, highlighting the unique voices and techniques of both emerging and established artists. Perfectly sized for gifting, each piece offers a unique, artful treasure for any collection.

You're invited to enter whimsical new worlds and experience the distinctive perspectives of fourteen local and international artists. Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the exhibition emphasizes imagination and interpretation over literal representation. From gentle ink-brush to large-scale ceramic, experimentation and object transformation can be found across media and style. Spotlight artists include Seattleite Steffanie Lorig, who uncovers and refines figures and faces within abstraction, and Korean brush-and-ink specialist YooSho Nam, whose latest series, Wonderland, is featured in the exhibition. An additional twelve artists contribute their own imaginative interpretations of the theme.

'This Is Seattle' showcases works by seven local artists inspired by the raw beauty, vibrant culture and daily life of our great city.

'Looking Through' brings together five artists represented by Gallery B612 - YoungHwa Choi, MooA Kang, Janice Lyons, Angela Navarro, and Mary Skomerza These women create diverse works inspired by our beautiful corner of the United States.

Four Korean/Korean-American artists— KyoungMug Park, MinJung Kim, MiYoung Margolis & YoungHwa Choi—explore Hanji (traditional Korean handmade paper) as a medium to reveal the unseen, the ephemeral, and the profound connections between nature and humanity.

Presented at Seattle Art Fair 2025, this exhibition brings the spirit of Dong-Ju Yun's poetry into the visual realm. Here, four Korean artists reinterpret Yun's motifs -- sky, wind, stars and poetry -- through the medium of hanji (a traditional Korean handmade paper) to reveal the unseen, ephemeral, and profound connections between nature and humanity.

Art Bridge is a special exhibition in partnership with 스페셜아트 Special Arts Korea and Vibrant Palette Arts Center which brings together thirty-eight artists of diverse cultural backgrounds, abilities and creative voices, with the aim of fostering and celebrating collaboration, mutual understanding and artistic exchange!

WOMEN. celebrates the complexity, power, and nuance of the feminine perspective. From deeply personal narratives to broader collective experiences, the exhibition illuminates themes of empowerment, resilience, motherhood, and the ever-evolving roles women occupy in society.

This AAPI Heritage Month exhibition celebrates the rich heritage, resilience, and contributions of the AAPI community in our local city of Seattle and beyond. This showcase features diverse artistic expressions that honor API history, culture, identity, and social impact.

In celebration of Black History Month, Essence in Bloom showcases a diverse collection of artistic expressions, featuring textile works, fused glass, mixed-media, portraiture, and abstract paintings from exceptional artists across the nation. The exhibition offers a glimpse into personal stories, histories, traditions, and experiences of the artists through thirty-five original works.

UNTITLED. brings together a curated collection of artworks that resist easy categorization and defy conventional titles.

Following a prolific career employing artwork as a voice for the oppressed, acclaimed Korean social figure and artist, BongJun Kim presents a series of works celebrating historical and contemporary Korean tradition and culture within the context of the world stage.

This show includes works by artists that explore the thin separation between dreams and reality, where they may overlap, and where they are inseparable. This exhibition is open to the public with additional artworks on site at Gallery B612 in Sodo Seattle.

Whether through abstract interpretations, poignant narratives, or vivid imagery, this theme encourages artists to delve into the emotions, stories, and visuals associated with the profound concept of starting anew.

This exhibition aims to explore the juxtaposition of different artistic styles, themes, or mediums to create a harmonious and thought-provoking visual experience for a local artist to showcase in Gallery B612.

About the Artist:
Rowan Eriksson, a painter hailing from the vibrant city of Seattle, has a unique artistic journey that has evolved from a classical foundation into the vibrant realm of pop art. As an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Rowan's personal narrative is marked by a distinct upbringing in a conservative southern commune. This upbringing not only shaped their perspective but also fueled a profound curiosity about the power of social media as a potent tool for propagating ideas and influencing public perceptions, particularly with regard to the queer community.

This rich and diverse background, alongside a deep connection to the LGBTQIA+ community, has profoundly impacted Rowan's artistry. Through their work, they explore the transformative potential of visual art in challenging preconceived notions and embracing the full spectrum of human diversity. From classical roots to pop art innovation, Rowan's artistic journey is an inspiring testament to the capacity of art to spark social change and foster understanding in our ever-evolving world.

A portion of the the proceeds will be donated to a local charity supporting low income children.

Notable artists throughout history as well as the earliest evolved homo-sapiens have depicted animals in art for centuries. Our interactions with them are inevitable. There are various forms of beauty in animals from their forms and patterns to the relationships we carry with them either with danger or companionship.

We learn from animals more than we think, and they help us expand and experience empathy as well as inspire us to technological innovation. We may often see ourselves in animals through modern internet memes as each type of animal has relatable characteristics and moods to us as people. For centuries, animals have been used by many if not all cultures to represent spirits, symbolism, power, and so on. They are precious, sacred, need protection and respect.

Urban Life Art Exhibition will showcase works representing cultural and architectural connection between our human lives and urban cities.

With our Summer In Seattle Theme, we want to share in the joys and memories of spending time enjoying the city and Puget sound area in the warmer days. As Seattle-ites know, sunshine can be scarce throughout the year for us. Even though we tough it out and enjoy nature in the cooler months, Summer In Seattle is a very special time where the city comes alive.

What do we love about Seattle? The coffee, the sweet pacific ocean air, the variety of local shops, access to beach and maintains, Seattle lifestyle, the Space Needle, the orcas and wildlife, the ferry, music scene, and more! Let’s celebrate the city and summer life in Seattle like the festival it feels like.

The Freedom Exhibition highlights and explores the significance of freedom in various contexts. We want to present a thought-provoking commentary on the importance of freedom in shaping our lives and society or at an individual level. The exhibition shares a diverse range of artworks that explore the theme of personal freedom and self-expression as well as different aspects presented through political, social, and personal freedoms.

From paintings to sculptures, each piece will portray a unique perspective on the theme, offering visitors a glimpse into the diverse ways in which freedom can be interpreted and represented. It offers a powerful reminder that freedom is not just a political ideal but a fundamental human right that must be defended and cherished.

The 'Grand Re-Opening Artist Reception' was Gallery B612's first multi-artist show. With a variety of mediums from local artists, the gallery is showcasing over fifty art pieces May 18th - June 17th, 2023.
