Mary Skomerza

Mary Skomerza is a fine arts painter from the Skagit Valley area of Washington.  Growing up in the small town of La Conner surrounded by endless natural beauty, Skomerza remains constantly inspired by the fields and sloughs, the misty forests and beaches of the coast, and the towering peaks of the North Cascades and arid plains of Eastern Washington.

She is endlessly fascinated by moody skies, dramatic slivers of light, and vivid sunset hues, which can be seen reflected in her body of landscapes in oils, in which she hopes to create unique snapshots of the views that have caught her eye.
