MIYOUNG MARGOLIS

MiYoung Margolis is a mixed-media artist, a wearable art fashion designer, model and dance performer living in Seattle Washington. She started when she was in elementary school and since then, her mediums of expression have spanned canvas, dance, poetry and most recently wearable art. Most of her work focuses around feminine emotions to take the viewer on the emotional journey experienced by all women. Through the use of texture, Margolis explores mixing materials to create a sculpture on canvas. Oil, acrylic, gels, sand, salt, crystal, cardboard and rice paper; All of these textures combine with rich color to tell a story and convey emotion.
