About the event
In this workshop, MiYoung Margolis will guide us in making a charming and beautiful bouquet of rose-like flowers using repurposed Korean mulberry paper, or hanji. You can add a personal touch of color using watercolors and acrylic pens!

About the Artist:
MiYoung Margolis is a contemporary artist from Seoul currently based in Seattle, WA, known for her vibrant and colorful mixed media paintings. Her works often incorporate elements of nature and the environment, as well as bold brushstrokes and layered heavy textures.
Much of Margolis’ work focuses on feminine emotions to the viewer on the emotional journey experienced by all women. She explores mixing materials to create a sculpture on canvas – oil, acrylic, gels, sand, salt, crystal, cardboard, and rice paper – all these textures combine with rich color to tell a story and convey emotions.
