Seattle Art Bridge: When Art Crosses All Borders
Art becomes a bridge—redefining ability, identity, and connection.

Seattle Art Bridge is more than an exhibition—it is a movement.
From Seoul to Seattle, artists with and without disabilities come together to create a space where art crosses all borders—redefining ability, identity, and connection. This one-time special exhibition, hosted at Gallery B612 in Seattle’s SODO district, invites the public to witness how art becomes a universal language of belonging.
From July 17 to 31, 2025, Gallery B612 presents Seattle Art Bridge—a powerful, one-time exhibition that transcends boundaries of culture, ability, and artistic tradition. Running concurrently with the Seattle Art Fair and located just under a mile south of Lumen Field’s WAMU Theater, this exhibition invites viewers to take a step beyond the expected and experience art as a universal language of belonging.
At its heart, Seattle Art Bridge is a statement:
Art has no borders—only bridges.
Bringing together artists from across the Pacific and within the local community, this project showcases bold and deeply human expressions that challenge conventional categories and celebrate difference. With a special focus on artists with disabilities and neurodiverse creatives, the exhibition uplifts voices that are often underrepresented in mainstream art spaces.
Featured Artists Include:
KyoungMug Park (South Korea) – Traditional Korean ink painter, live performer
MinJung Kim (South Korea) – Contemporary hanji abstractionist and Special Arts Korea representative

Why Seattle Art Bridge?
In a world of increasing fragmentation, Seattle Art Bridge offers a vision of connection. Through shared expression, the exhibition invites us to question where we draw lines—and to imagine what might happen if we didn’t.
Bridging Two Worlds: Gallery B612 at Seattle Art Fair 2025
As part of its ongoing mission to bridge cultural narratives through art, Gallery B612 will also participate in Seattle Art Fair 2025, presenting a special exhibition titled The Sky, The Wind, The Stars, and Poetry at Booth F09 from July 17–20 at Lumen Field Event Center.
Inspired by the poetry of the beloved Korean writer Dong-ju Yun, the exhibition features hanji-based visual works by KyungMug Park, MinJung Kim, YoungHwa Choi, and MiYoung Margolis.
Both KyungMug and MinJung, who are also central artists in Seattle Art Bridge, will present their work across both venues—extending a shared message of connection, cultural memory, and artistic authenticity. KyungMug’s evocative live ink painting performance and MinJung’s meditative hanji abstractions form a bridge between gallery and fair, inviting audiences to experience the emotional and expressive power of Korean contemporary art in two distinct yet deeply connected spaces.
